As part of my research in the praxis of psychologists and the profession of psychology, I discuss the impact of narrow scientific perspectives on health professionals (ydernummer-psykologer). Eg the Danish Health Authority publishes national clinical guidelines that limit the methodological freedom of the professionals, as these guidelines are often based on RCT studies and a narrow definition of evidence. To counter this I propose an human science and existential phenomenological framework that emphasize holistic understanding, a nuanced perspective on science and a Bildung perspective.
