Visit from Ritsumeikan University - Centre for Cultural Psychology

Lagt online: 27.09.2024

Prof. Tatsuya Sato and a group of psychology students from Ritsumeikan University in Japan visited the Centre for Cultural Psychology in September.

This has been the 4th visit as part of an ongoing exchange between the Centre for Cultural Psychology/Master program Cultural Psychology at AAU and Prof. Sato’s Cultural Psychology program at Ritsumeikan University.

On the first day the Japanese students participated in several lectures and seminars of our Master program Cultural Psychology, led by Carolin Demuth and Brady Wagoner, where they engaged in discussions with AAU students about personal and cultural meaning. They also took an urban art walk through Aalborg with Sarah Awad. Furthermore, they met with several people of the Institute for Advanced Study in PBL.

The collaboration between the Centre for Cultural Psychology and Ritsumeikan University comprises yearly visits from Prof. Sato and his students, as well as yearly invitations of Cultural Psycholgists from AAU to Ritsumeikan University.
