PhD Course: Video-Based Interaction Research: Collecting, Analysing and Presenting Social Interaction
A three-day course focusing on collecting, analysing and presenting video-based interaction research.
09.03.2020 kl. 09.00 - 11.03.2020 kl. 15.30
The objective of the course is to develop skills, competences and knowledge about how to carry out video-based interaction research across settings – including classroom interaction, museum exhibitions, design activities, makerspaces, etc. Day one will focus on the process of collecting audio-visual data in the field, day two will focus on analysing audio-visual data (including transcription), day three will focus techniques for presenting video data.
Course participants are expected to bring their own video data to work on (or be in the phases of planning how to setup their research design).
The course literature is mandatory. Bring your own computer and headphones for the practical activities.
All course days include presentations by a lecturer, which is followed by practical exercises. The course is for PhD-students, post docs, as well as senior researchers. Course starts at 9.00 and ends at 15.30 each day.
